A selection of  Sketches

Angus, Geisha and Tufty were my loving companions when I spent three years up in the mountains writing a novel about a matriarchal elephant. 

The best time to draw the animals was in the evening when they came inside to sleep and to be near the fire. Theresa was a model that a group of us used to draw from every Saturday morning.

Sketches in the Park

These were done during Spring when I was working in Ipswich. I would set ona bench and sketch local folk enjoying the sun in the square close to theGiles memorial.
