Margot is a friend of mine. This painting arose out of the holiday spent on the house-boat on Lake Kariba. It was a warm relaxing time and it provided many opportunities to catch people absorbed in mundane activities. It is often these moments that provide the most interesting material for paintings. Margot bought this painting.
